Every distinctive property has its own stoy -— and its own opportunities to become unforgettable to the guests who stay there. However you found us, every full design engagement follows the same four-stage process.

Discover
We start by getting to know your property in person — a full walkthrough, conversations with you and anyone on your team who shapes the guest experience, and a close look at what’s already working and where the opportunity is. For a historic property, this is also where we flag structural, code, or condition considerations early, before they become surprises later.

Vision
From what we learn in Discover, we develop a design concept and direction — grounded in what makes your property distinctive, and in the feeling you want guests to leave with. You’ll see and react to this concept before any construction-level decisions are made.

Craft
This is where the vision becomes real: space planning, materials, finishes, lighting, and furnishings selected and specified, with working documents prepared for contractors and vendors. You’ll work directly with James and a small, named team — not a project coordinator managing your file among dozens of others.

Welcome
We coordinate procurement and oversee installation and styling through to opening — the moment your property welcomes guests into the space we’ve built together.
